Well this is
Not something you see cut everyday.
In fact, most cutters don't want to go near fluorite due to it's softness and ability to cleave in every direction.
These wonderful faceted Illinois Fluorite gems should be used for display, but I have seen some amazing pendants and earrings made similar stones.
This stone is a beautiful purple color, (a bit lighter with more pink to the color than the photos show) and in some lighting has some really nice pink flash to it.
The stone is very eye clean. If you take a really close look, you can see some faint zoning lines in the stone.
